It's not too late to stop runaway climate change

Reliable information about climate change and the effects of greenhouse gases has been around for 40 years. Myths like these have delayed action:

• climate change is not caused by humans

• we can’t afford the economic costs of addressing climate change

• the worst effects are way off in the future

• our grandchildren will fix it

The fossil fuel lobby has tried to bolster these myths, but they now have little or no credibility.
