- FoEA Submission to Garnaut on the Transport Issues Paper — by CamWalker — last modified 2008-05-29 02:42
- This submission focuses on the use of biofuels/agrofuels as a means of reducing emissions from the transport industry. It outlines why biofuels should not be imported into Australia and that biofuel targets should not be implemented due to the environmental and social impacts of the expansion of this industry.
- FoEA General submission to the Garnaut Review — by CamWalker — last modified 2008-05-29 02:29
- This is the general submission to the Review. In this paper we outline why averting catastrophic changes to our climate requires urgent emergency action that goes well beyond business-as-usual political and economic solutions. We call on the Australian government to make climate change their number one priority and provide strong regulation and structured intervention to urgently shift to a low carbon economy.
