FoE revegetation project - work day (Melbourne)

planting day at Rushall, 2005

This site was planted by Merri Creek Management Committee with the support of FoE volunteers in late 2005. This time we will be putting in stream side plants (mostly sedges). This planting will help to treat water for discharge into the stream.

The site is in North Fitzroy, just on the creek side of Rushall Station, by the footbridge over the Merri (Melway map 30 D12)

We will be working from 10am - 1pm, followed by a BBQ lunch courtesy of Merri Creek Management Committee.
