Helena Norberg HodgeFrom protecting the culture and tradition of the Ladakh in the Western Himalayas to advocating and writing about local alternatives to the globalised food economy, Helena will outline the shift required to save our beloved earth from the dangers of corporate agribusiness. Contextualising the importance of food re-localisation and sustainable farming, Helena will move beyond a critique of consumerism to explain how recovering culture and improving well-being can enrich our lives and communities.

If you are tired of hearing about global problems and want to listen to some practical solutions, then walk with us as we step through Helena's vision of a brighter future.

The event is free, but a gold coin donation is welcomed to support the International Society for Ecology and Culture.

Helena Norberg-Hodge is the founder and director of the International Society for Ecology and Culture, co-founder of the International Forum on Globalization and director of the Ladakh Ecological Development Group.
