In early 2007, Friends of the Earth Melbourne launched its first face-to-face street fundraising campaign.

We are looking for confident, articulate people with a passionate interest in environmental and social justice issues to join our fundraising team. As the public face of a community-based, grass-roots organisation like Friends of the Earth, you will connect with diverse people in the community and raise awareness of (and funds to support!) the important campaigns and issues FoE concentrates on. At a crucial juncture when much of the population is waking up to the dangers of global climate change, this work couldn't be more timely, or necessary.

Full-time and part-time positions are available, with some weekend work. Shifts run Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:45am to 5:45pm. We need a minimum commitment of three shifts a week from all our campaigners.

All of our fundraisers will be paid a decent hourly wage, with NO commission. Full training will be provided.
