Getting Involved

by DerecDavies last modified 2008-08-01 18:13

At this point we are not actively campaigning on this issue ... however, this may change in the near future.

Recently we have seen the re-emergence of the public debate about immigration, carrying capacity and ecological impacts.

One recent suggestion was that Australia should reduce immigration as a way to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. FoE does not support this type of argument. We will respond as we can to these debates in the mainstream media but have very limited ability to do so.

We would urge you to use the resources you can find in our environment and population project to engage in the public debate as well.
