Become a Member on the Steering Commitee

A steering committee has been set up and is meeting fortnightly to give direction to the project and guide the campaign.  If you have ever wanted to 'make a difference', then please contact us with your details for our consideration of your inclusion on the steering committee.  You might have skills and experience in retail, business or marketing, or you might have a few spare hours ever week to carry out some tasks and move the project forward.

Donate Equipment, Skills or Services

Below is a list of equipment that we need to get the first Eco market off the ground.  If you are able to assist in sourcing or providing any of these items, then please contact us.

In order of most to least importance, we need:

• Trestle tables new & used
• Shade cloth or Gazebos
• Large Storage boxes
• Bins for waste & recycling
• Bike parking racks
  
• Temporary fencing
• Large blackboard
• Laptop Computer
• Power boards
• Extension chords
• Outdoor chairs
• PA system & speakers for bands
• Trailer
• Raised performance stage
• Inkjet printer
• Bales of hay / straw
• Safe / lockable money box
• Carpet mats or eco flooring products to protect the lawn areas when it's wet.

We also have a need for people willing to volunteer their time with the following skills:

• legal advice
• graphical design
• banner, billboard or sign writing
• anyone who wants to take on the supermarkets
• market day volunteers to help the market run smoothly.  Meet & Greet, provide information, collect feedback or help set up and pack down.
