The South Melbourne Commons is holding a Film night to raise funds for its food producing gardens. The event will be on the 8th August.
Presents: Fukuoka in India
Legend of natural farming, Masanobu Fukuoka, shares with the viewer philosophies and techniques from his revolutionary farm in Japan; before leaving on invitation for a tour of India, where he visits farms and villages . See this rare footage, duration 1 hour, which includes a demonstration of Fukuoka's unique clay ball strategy of broadcasting seeds and growing rice, and concludes with him visiting a natural farm that surpasses even his own.
