The Commons is always unlocked and open - it's your community hub - but our open day is your chance to find out exactly what it's all about.

Our Open Day is on Sunday 3 March 11:00am - 2:00pm, right here at the Corner of Bank and Montague Street , South Melbourne.
 
     ❖ Tours of the facilities leave every thirty minutes starting 11am from the front of the building in our lovely community gardens.
     ❖ Learn about the sustainable features of The Commons Hub.
     ❖ See our beautifully decorated hall, dressed for a very special occasion – a perfect venue for your next event.
     ❖ Join Maxine McKew at 11.15am when she launches our fabulous poster.
     ❖ Entertainment by The Connies - a performance troupe of former Tram Conductors telling stories from the rich 128 year Melbourne tram tradition.
     ❖ Massive sale of dry goods from our Pantry of organic items such as pasta, tamari, noodles and much more.
     ❖ Demonstrations by our Health and Wellness instructors – Wham! Pram – pregnancy/mum’s and bubs exercise, LittleAid – paediatric first aid 12.30 to 1.00pm.
     ❖  Back2Bikes bike maintenance and decorating – get ready for the Bike Fest in Bay Street on the same day.
     ❖ Enjoy breakfast, lunch or coffee at the Café – Let Me Be Frank.
