Our climate campaigns
For many years our climate justice campaign has forged the agenda on the human rights dimensions of climate change, from supporting the rights of those at risk of climate-induced displacement to exposing the social impacts of carbon offsets in Southern countries.
We are also building campaigns relating to Australia's greenhouse gas emissions and the impacts of the fossil fuel industries on communities. We participate in the Lock the Gate alliance against coal-seam gas, we are involved in campaigns against the expansion of the domestic and export coal industries, and we have started a pro-renewable energy campaign that highlights the benefits for communities in taking up renewable energy to reduce emissions.

Our vision is a future where institutions invest with a high degree of respect for the environment, utilising our money to deliver solutions to major environmental issues, and where the community holds to account the custodians of their money to ensure it is used to benefit the environment.
Our work will expose the institutions that are financing environmentally destructive projects and help Australians hold these institutions accountable. We will work with the community to prevent investment in projects that would harm the environment and drive global warming.
