Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance: Solidarity Economy Session #3 - 30 Years of Solidarity

AFSA present Solidarity Economies Session 3 - featuring Friends of the Earth

Friends of the Earth are excited to team up with the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance (AFSA) for the third session of the Solidarity Economy series of online events.

This session focusses on Coops. Beth Cameron of Friends of the Earth Melbourne will share how they've organised a thriving co-op for over 30 years, as well as talking to Katherine Cunningham and Ellie Coffey of Friends of the Earth member group, Earthworker Cooperative, who work to establish a network of worker-owned cooperatives committed to sustainable enterprise - including Australia's first worker-owned factory.

Whether you want to create a co-op or learn how they work, if you want to get involved in one or already are - come a hear from this wealth of experience about how these co-ops have mobilised, organised, grown, and thrived.

WHEN: Wednesday June 24 at 6pm AEST.

Links will be sent to registered attendees so please make sure you sign up here.

Friends of the Earth are a proud member of the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance.
