Friends of the Earth and Good for the Gong would like to invite you to a FREE video and content training.
This 3 hour training aims to upskill community members, volunteers and local advocates in capturing strong stories to share on social media about the issues that matter to your community. No previous interest or skills in photography, video or social media needed.
In this training you will learn the basics of capturing content and images of your local events and how to quickly and easily edit and share those stories online.
The training will include:
- Creating a story narrative and vision for the Illawarra
- How to capture captivating images and video for social media at your events (from your phones)
- How to tell your personal story
- Easy ways to create and edit social media videos
- How to add a call to action (e.g. encourage people to sign a petition or join a meeting)
- What kinds of messages and narratives move people into action
- In person practice and editing session
