Friends of the Earth Australia joins calls condemning the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestine, including the outrageous targeting of women and children, civilian structures, the bombing of densely populated areas, and attacks on media buildings that threaten the international right to freedom of information.
We urge diplomatic leaders to find a peaceful resolution to the disastrous Israeli occupation of Palestinian land which violates international law and is taking a huge toll on people and the environment.
We urge our supporters to attend local protests being organised by Palestinians in Australia and solidarity movement. Please check out The Australian Palestinian Advocacy Network for a list of some of the events that are already planned, or consider organising your own solidarity action.

We stand in solidarity with PENGON/Friends of the Earth Palestine and the Palestinian peoples and call for a permanent end to the occupation of Palestinian lands and an end to the violence.
Friends of the Earth International have also released a statement condemning the violence.
In an abhorrent display of insensitivity, the Queensland government are still allowing the LandForces 2021 arms exhibition and conference to go early next month. Many of the exhibitors will be profiting off the current atrocities, including Elbit Systems, who are known to supply weapons systems to Israeli forces for use in Palestinian occupied territories. Protests against the conference have also been organised.
